Got a clue?
The other day I heard a woman say to another “You need to get a clue.” It made me think, that would be a good thing to do, get a clue. Everyone could use a clue at sometime or another, but where does one get a clue? I’ve been told more than a few times that I don’t have a clue. I of course didn’t have a clue what they were talking about.
People that do have clues seem to leave them behind at crime scenes a lot.
Any clues? Keep looking, they’re here.
I don’t want used clues. I want new clues. I’d like a clue before it’s been used and left behind by others.
I think colleges offer some clues but they’re pretty expensive. If they give them out at the 8am class that would explain why most people are still clueless. I’ve met a lot of people that spent tens of thousands of dollars trying to get a clue and still ended up clueless. They seem to end up in charge of everybody else that’s clueless.
If stores sold clues I don’t think I’d want a discount store clue i.e. Target, Wal-mart, T.J. Max. I don’t think they would hold up well.
I want good clues so I’m willing to pay top dollar. Stores like Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, Neiman Marcus would probably have good clues.
Excuse me. I need a clue?
They didn’t have any clues.
Oh yeah, the truck didn’t come in yesterday.
How about a grip, do you need a grip? I have a lot of grips.
I have no idea. I think I need a clue.
Most people use a grip until they get a clue. If you’re out of ideas I’d get a grip.
What do think, need a grip?
Uh, maybe I do need a grip. Let’s see, a clue, a grip and an idea. I think ideas are easier to come by than clues. I should start there. You always hear people say “I gotta an idea. And then they toss it away as just a thought. I think I’ll stick with clues for the time being.
Have you ever listened to someone that you thought probably has a lot of clues? Just sat and listened to them cover every subject from all sides, backward, forward and you think, now this guys got a clue! And then they proclaim “What do I know? I’m clueless!”
Maybe I’m old school, but these days,’ I don’t think people much care about having a clue. They have Google.
